YOUR TASKS
- Conception and development of (extensive) websites & portals with WordPress and partly also WooCommerce – with and without the use of page builders (PRO Theme, WPBakery, BeaverBuilder)
- Development of Custom Templates, Plugins and Themes
- Development and integration of custom post types and advanced filtering with FacetWP
- Frontend development and CSS styling for desktop and mobile
- Maintenance and support of existing applications and websites
- Integration and templating in WordPress
- Quality assurance (compatibility, performance, SEO)
YOUR PROFILE
- Deep knowledge and at least five years of experience with WordPress backend and frontend development
- Confident handling of WordPress: integration, configuration as well as templating
- Solid expertise in CSS3 / SCSS, HTML5, Javascript and PHP
- Professional in the use of custom fields, CPTs, filtering (FacetWP)
- Experienced in setting up and using Git (Bitbucket) and deployments (automated)
- You think along and question critically, but also consultatively
- You write clean and performant code that is solidly commented / documented
- High quality awareness and initiative
- Very good communication skills, enjoy dialog with team colleagues and customers
- (Very) good English skills – if you speak German even better
