LOOKING FOR LOCAL, FULL-TIME WORDPRESS DESIGNER & DEVELOPER

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, passionate individual to join our team as a Front End Developer.
There is a lot of room for advancement and a great environment to acquire new and refine existing skills.
We have incoming work daily that requires high quality developer consultants to execute. We’ll help train you up and get you moving on our platform.
The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should have superior user interface design skills. They will also be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Front End Developer, you will be working closely with our Project Managers and Sr. Devs to develop and maintain high quality websites, transform designs into working templates, estimate and manage time effectively and communicate using project management software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final
Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
Set up, develop, and deploy full-scale CMS-based websites
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
Proven work experience as a Web Designer/Developer
Experience with WordPress
Experience with WooCommerce
Good understanding of mobile first and responsive programming
Good understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform issues and web standards
Preferably 2-4 years experience in web development. It’s okay if it’s less.
Demonstrable graphic design skills
Experience on React.js is an asset but not required
Experience with other CMS (Shopify, Sitefinity, Magento, etc.) is an asset but not required
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Proficiency in WordPress, Scrollmagic, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
