How to create a block child theme in WordPress

Envision this scenario: You’ve just found a near-perfect theme to use on your website. It’s well designed, includes the layouts you want, but you want to change the color palette and limit clients from modifying some areas. Unfortunately, the theme you are using doesn’t let you remove the default colors or lock blocks.
