The Idea
We were working on a project once with a tight deadline and needed instructions around a specific request. We found a YouTube video in which the author described what we needed amazingly well. What surprised us though was that the video had merely 50 or so views in 3 years. It didn’t take long before an idea popped up and WP Scout was born a few hours later.
WP Scout is a carefully curated aggregation of all the best WordPress related blogs, podcasts, courses, and resources. It is designed to help the discovery of such resources, keeping up to date with all the news, but most importantly to encourage everyone to contribute to WordPress project and its community.
Meet the Team
We are Ena Jovovic and Nikola Stulic, long-term business partners.
Once upon a time, we wanted to try something new in our projects, so we decided to use WordPress for some cool new websites we were building during the summer of 2007. It was much more intuitive for administration than the CMS we were using at the time, and when we compared the two under the hood…
Well, we had only one comment: “Code is Poetry”.
Though we were still learning, we managed to significantly reduce our delivery time and since then, we created only 2 non-WordPress sites.
Since 2017. we are involved in the work of community and since then we contributed as translators, speakers and WordCamp organizers.
WordPress has given us so much professionally speaking and WP Scout will be our way of saying thank you and trying to give back to the community as much as we can. This way, we hope we’ll be able to help the further development of the community as well.
